Artists Selected for 2026

Once again, this year’s selection process was highly competitive. We received 46% more applications for 2026 sessions than we did in 2025. Applications were from artists around the world working in literary, media, music, dance, theater, visual and interdisciplinary arts.

Our multidisciplinary selection panel was comprised of artists from across the country, representing a range of disciplines, media, and cultural perspectives, reviewed every application with care.

Applications were evaluated for artistic commitment, strength of past work, feasibility of proposed goals, and potential to contribute positively to communal life in a rural environment.

We are excited to welcome our first 2026 cohort in January!
