2023 Community Accelerator Grant Recipient

We are proud to announce that Vashon Artist Residency is a recipient of a 2023 Community Accelerator Grant funded by the Paul G. Allen Family Foundation and awarded by ArtsFund!

671 grantees received funding from the Community Accelerator Grant, a historic investment in Washington’s arts and culture sector. The program provides just over $10M in $2,500 to $25,000 grants across Washington state. Funding will provide essential resources to Washington organizations whose primary mission is to produce or support arts and culture activities. The unrestricted funding will accelerate our efforts to provide artists with transformative experiences during their stay with us on Vashon Island.
